Project Summary

In August 2023, Tribal Pass teamed up with the Utah Jazz. This led us to revamp our web homepage and finalize our trip feature. To match the new web style and add the trip feature, we're completely redesigning the native app, starting coding in January 2024.

Problem

🎉 Solutions

We're currently confronted with two primary issues on our native app. Firstly, our UI doesn't align with the new homepage's modern and adventurous style, which emphasizes large imagery.

Secondly, we're aiming to enhance user customization, especially on the homepage, by establishing a connection with the user's upcoming trip. Additionally, we're working on improving navigation, communication, and support features to provide a smoother user experience.

1. Visual Enhancement

-Modern and adventurous homepage style.(Bigger imagery and fewer text)

-Applies to home page, experience, and hotel pages for a captivating user experience

2.Trip Status and Personalization

-Dynamic trip status on homepage.

-User-customized trip names

-Profile photo uploads with Google profile integraion.

-Instant chatbot support for user inquiries.

Before Redesign: Wireframe Feasibility and Collaboration

During the wireframe design process, I have consistently kept my team, which includes two front-end developers, informed about the feasibility of the designs.

The designs encompass the home page, trip timeline, hotel details, experience details, and the search page for hotels and experiences.

Experience Data Comes from ...

All Travelpass Experiences are curated using activities and experiences from Viator.

One Step Away from Checkout

After collecting data (user research)from travel enthusiasts in the office, we found that most people prefer scrolling through all experience info on one page, which contrasts with Viator's approach of using multiple modals before taking users to the check-in page.

Our goal is to streamline the process for quicker access to the payment page.

Or add to wishlist ❤️

Users can decide whether they want to book an experience later. They can also add experiences to their trip from those saved in the wishlist.

Explore

Trendy activities

Users can view more trendy options that were recommended. We pull this data from the backend, and we have filters like adventure tours, family-friendly, excellent quality, and more.

Support Agents

We have support agents at Travelpass who can assist with the questions users have. They also provide recommendations for users who might be interested in different experiences.
